I am currently receiving emails from two hydroponics suppliers from two different neighboring countries.

Supplier A has just said of supplier B that "B is from XXXX and the XXXX are notorious for over promising and under delivering."

I couldn't help but laugh.

What has B said about A?

There was a salesperson I have dealt with who would say similar things: eg. That vendors product isn't as good as ours. It was funny when he left his job and came back working for the competitor saying the same things about the product he used to sell.

Well that's very revealing... but I'm finding it hard to get a chuckle out of the punch line...

Could you not "accidentally" forward supplier A`s email to supplier B?

No I don't think so. I want people to be frank with me and they will be less likely to be so if I were to do such things. When it comes to specific claims rather than attacks on national characters I'll gladly ask for their comment on claims so that they can make a counter claim.
