Saw this guys' videos a while back but totally forgot about him.
Forum member Ao+ reminded me about him.

Reasonable size system, will be interesting to see his progress.

This is his first video, I think.

Koh Tao ( Turtle Island,if translate in Eng.) is beautiful place, my friend told me, I never bee there.
May be commercial AP on an island is good idea because difficult in transportation, less competitor,
lack of water and a lot of foreign tourism.

I have been to Koh Tao, one of the best islands in Thailand, not too many farrang, not yet
For a commercial system, he may have the odds stacked in his favour.
Downside is, real estate is expensive, labour is (relatively) expensive, but if he can get in with the hotels and tourist food outlets, he may be on to a winner.

Yes exactly! direct sale to hotel or restaurant is the best price.

If you do dirt farm, locate at most suitable area to grow, grow as much as you can, then transport to the market.
Sell mass product to the mass market. I don't think AP will win this market.

If I do AP farm, I will locate my farm nearest my market.
Sell the fresh, the availability (near and all year round).
Expensive land can be compensated with less transportation, higher yield.
Nearer, fresher and quicker response can protect the niche market.
And I don't think AP can beat the dirt on mass market.

One more good point on island is less insect disturb from mainland.

Do commercial AP we have to consider too many pro's and con's.
