Just a few quick photo's, summer has well and truly hit, lots of 40 deg + days, warm nights, very little rain. The last cyclone dropped around 20mm out this way, but that is it.

Summer growth abounds :)

Kinda nice to see pics of systems in Full growth of summer. Mine look a bit sparse right now as it is winter for us.

Looking great OBO, I like the pumpkin trelis, great to see the lawn surviving the heat as well.
What about weld meshing in an arch over the whole lot, that would look way cool, or maybe arches over the lines of IBCs.
Just looking great though, big ups. :thumbleft: :thumbright:

How is fill the GBs from the bottom working for you? Each time I think about doing it, I worry about solids build up down there getting nasty. Have you dug down into one yet to see whats in there? Using the bottom 1/3 of my GBs for water storage would work really well for me, but I still worry about doing it.

Not filling from the bottom, it's all top fill, standpipe drain. I have tried filling growbeds from the bottom in previous systems, but it is not reliable. Roots block them up too quickly.

Thanks for the comments guys and girls :wave1:

hmm...are you still using the bottom of the growbeds for water storage? If so, and filling from the top, are you conserned about anaerobic zones?

The standpipes draw water up from the bottom of the growbeds, the outer standpipe guard has most of it's holes lower down, so the water has to be turned over. No problems so far.
