I don't want to address the elephant in the room regarding definitions of commercial systems.
I will say that I sold my first recently, for just a bit under USD 90/, little 80 liter fishtank in a planter and a 20 liter GB with removable mini GBs in it, including fish, all equipment, 80 liters of water from my established system and 4 weeks of my support to start up.
Given that a bell siphon costs USD 50 on amazon and goes up from there I think it was a rather fair price, especially as I only made it up with material cost and didn't bill in the USD 50/hour mechanical engineer that built that damn thing.
That being said if someone were to offer me USD 1495 for an IBC as shown in the picture in this thread, which is a lot more basic than that slide out out featured in the ABCs of IBCs made by someone who's name I can't recall, well I'd think they'd be expecting to get a whole bunch of fellatio along with the system, hell I would.
On the flip if someone would like to purchase an IBC system for USD 1495, or even a skint USD 1000 please do get in touch with me and I will get it done for you, fellatio not included.
