Hi icelandic
I sugest you get in toutch with Matorka, they are/have been in on aquaponics R/D in nordic countrys
cut/paste from here http://www.matorka.is/ProductDevelopmentInnovation/ :

Matorka aquaculture farms are located in the southern part of Iceland. Our unique location allows us to be land-based, while still maintaining ample access to fresh water from 0 to 55 degrees centigrade. In addition, our facilities are powered by geothermal energy - unique to Iceland - ensuring that our energy costs are low and sustainable.

The company focuses on the polyculture of various fish species as well as integrated aquaculture and algae cultivation. Today, our production line offers high quality Arctic charr and Nordic Tilapia.

Matorka is currently engaged in a Nordic research project, focusing on commercially viable management practices and technologies in aquaponics.

Our priority is to be a sustainable and eco-friendly producer of high-quality seafood.

cheers

Maybe Ive just read about too many dreamers and failures to take posts like this serious, its no offence to the OP personally and I do wish all the best but I find it hard to jump on the profit train when there hasnt been any proof of any aquaponic experience, business plans, market, system design, packaging, licensing etc etc etc We don't need details but there needs to be a show of some bloody hard work before you ask for other peoples money.

Its all good and well to have access to cheap greenhouses and watch a few aquaponic vids on youtube and think you can match it all up and come up with another sustainable dream and put other peoples money on the line. Don't worry your not the only one to try.

Trying to access financial backers on a backyard aquaponic forum where there is only 1 or 2 commercial growers just seems silly and reeks of inexperience to me. Heck, there is only a very small handful of successful commercial aquaponic systems in the world! Im sorry if this sounds rude but Ive seen it all before..... good luck.

Don't think you'll have much luck on here for securing investment. 20 acre project with vertical growth sounds massive. Hope it works out for you.
