How is it done? I mean I see everyone else posting pics they are in like boxes with descriptions above and such. I suppose it has to do with members album? Would appreciate knowing how |

Charlie, use the "post reply button, rather than the "quick reply" box. Type your message, down the bottom is an "add attachments" button, click that and follow the instructions. You can post up to 3 pictures on each post, for some reason you need to post them in reverse order |

see, easy, just resize the pictures down a little bit so we don't have to scroll sideways to read the message |

An easy way to "resize" photos to fit, is download the "Resizer" tool from the downloads section.... http://backyardaquaponics.com/forum/dlo ... file_id=29 Install..... locate the picture(s) you want to resize.... can do multiples.... right click and select "Resize Picture" option..... select "Medium 800x600"... Will create a new file of the name filename (medium) in the same directory location.... attach photo(s) as per Add Attachments |

Most of my pictures are in the 3+ mb range. I use MS Office Picture Manager to resize. Do you have a recommended size. I tried to pm someone a picture and I resize 3 times before it worked. Any advice would be appreciated. |

Resize noted That was a cray tank made from an old chest type deep freezer. Airlifts brought water off the bottom of the cray area, circulated by gravity through the high/low baffles covered with the filter pad material for media and airlifted back to the surface of the cray area. Little was known at this point in time about aqua related things. Silicone II was used in the construction which is deadly to aquatic life. It was dis-assembled, re-done and used to house minnows for a time then sat unused for a long time, then became a hydroponic reservoir recently until it sprung a leak. Now tomato plants are sitting on top of it in my patio greenhouse |

Any advice would be appreciated. I use the same. In the resize option, custom size, enter 640 into the height box and it will auto fill the next box. Save. 640 x 480 is a good size for most forums. |
