Generally a bigger tank makes for a happier critter.

Hi guys! I recently acquired two baby axies and I'm looking to move them into some bigger digs than the little tubs they came in. I have a 3 gallon aquaponics tank that I was thinking I might move them into. Would this be alright to put them in? Thanks! |

And with a larger tank it will be easier to maintain water quality and maintain a constant temperature. Good Luck! |
