What are the three main challenges for you as an aquaponic farmer?
I'm unsure, whether farmer is the right term, so please excuse me if not
.I pose the above question in the hope that you are willing to share your views, experiences and insights. As an employee at the Danish farm, Ausumgaard (www.ausumgaard.dk), I am currently working on our newest project, FoodKRAFT (www.kraftcenter.dk).
FoodKRAFT is a melting pot for everyone willing to contribute to the idea of a sustainable food production. As part of FoodKRAFT we will run a social business, Folkestuen. Its most important task will be to inspire and educate more people to become farmers in every sustainable way possible (we have to feed an additional 2bn people, right?). And we see aquaponics as an option of high potential.
We would very much appreciate, if you could tell us what challenges to focus on in our educational efforts.
