Hi. I added pond salt to my aquaponic system and now my lettuce shoots have what looks like crystal like spots on the leaves. Has anyone used too much salt and seen this? I want to ensure it is the salt and not something else affecting the leaves.

I plan on doing many water changes over the next few days.

Your lettuce will die from the salt first. And you water shouldn't be coming into contact with the plant leaves.

I'd say it's something else.
