Is there a 12v water temp senor that controls a water valve? Well I had to replace a pump that got wet in a storm so naturally that seemed like the time to do some more tweaking and adding stuff to my system I am adding two more tanks hopefully for prawns and two 4'x12' solar water heater panels to get my water temperatures up .I plan to pump the clean return water form the sump to solar panels then to FT's But in my drawing the red 12v valve could be a manual ball valve but would like to find some type of cheap 12v automatic valve that has a water temp senor in at least one of the FT's to keep 70 degrees temperature or close valve and make it go up through solar panel for heat but once reaches 70 degrees the valve woudl open and let return water go straight to FT's and maintain water temps that way........Do they make a 12v water temp sensor valve like this??? is there a correct name to search for it? any links?? Note: all three tanks will have a balance pipe allowing water level to be same height in all and theoretical water temperature

I dont know a great deal about it, but a Normally open thermostat inline in the 12v power to a solenoid valve should do the trick. |
