Hello everyone, just found out about Aquaponics. Currently reside in San Diego, moving to Norfolk area for military. Anyone know of any aquaponic farms in San Diego or Norfolk that I can visit with my wife. We would like to see how it works before making the investment. We would need something that we could hopefully tear apart every 3 years and move. Also does anyone have a beginners guide to aquaponics, an all in one place, that instructs you on greenhouse, aquaponic setup, foods one can grow, and how to get organic certified? Has anyone heard of Portablefarms, their videos on youtube seem pretty nice. Thank you, look forward to the help. There is so much information on aquaponics its hard to sit down and weed through it all, especially since i am packing up my place right now for my move in 1 month. Appreciate any help |

I had a look at the Portable Farms videos ...if you want to look at something genuine search Chatterson Farms on this forum, it's not portable but it is very inspiring. As far as portability goes you might be better off with a hoop-house type setup, it would be simple to disassemble when it comes time for you to move and IBC fish tanks and grow beds are going to be more portable than long beds as well. I watched "youtube.com/watch?v=ThbQt59Fkmk"
