Hey everyone,

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted or been on been a crazy year! But my wife had bought me that mini kitchen system over a year ago. Finally got it set it up, and have honestly gone through 7 fish before we stoped putting fish in it for a while. Each fish both Beta's and Molly's died of the same look this white film coated them. I mean I have kept Beta's alive in a vase for 3 years and cant keep one alive in here for more than 3 weeks. Can anyone throw some advice my way more maybe know what it could be.

I will also say I used some of the water in my big system in my mini system to help culture it but I had changed that water out 100% after the first fish died because I thought that might have had something to do with it.

I don' have any pictures of the fish I have been running the system without fish for about a month or more and was thinking about adding fish again but didn't want to till I maybe got an idea about what was happening. I know that their gills were coated in a like white film/mucus Also the tank always has a sort of reddish brown alge in it I try to clean once in a while because I know that it is a too small a tank to allow it to get too dirty.
