ccBear where do you see that it's that particular acid on the labeling? Something in the codes on that upper label? |

Not sure where ccbear was going with that ... try this... http://www.boumatic.com/assets/files/us ... liance.pdf Mixture of hydrogen peroxide, Sulphuric Acid & Methane Sulphonic Acid... pretty nasty stuff... So take caution and care when rinsing... triple rinse/dry... and should be fine... (just be careful doing so) |

Sorry to bring up an old thread. I know people say to clean the IBC's with bleach to get it back to usefulness for aquaponics, but what if it held bleach? I would assume I would still have to clean it out. A buddy of mine found them for $50/each and wanted to know if I could use them. |

You probably would not need to clean as hard but you will still need to clean it as bleach is not particularly good for AP too. Mine had motor oil in them, so I used degreaser, and then detergent with a scrub with a good wash down with a high pressure cleaner at each rinse. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
