I know this is a tough question but my catfish have started dying. All my water readings are well within normal ranges. System a year old. We have had quite the range of temperature swings lately. We were in the eighties for sometime then dropped to the sixty's/seventies. The night time temps have been in the mid forties to mid fifties. Water temp went from 64 degrees to a high to a low of 58 degrees. It has been up and down a lot over the past several weeks. Also lots of rain. My system is outdoors. Water has lots of algae but that didn't seem to bother them before. Any suggestions? TJ |

Have you salted your water? You might want to add salt to your water. |

No I haven't added salt. Why would I do that and if I did how much per 100 gallons of water? TJ |
