I'm a lot more mobile today -- must be getting better?

I did a little bit of fiddling to see if I could get more push for swirling the water in the FT AND more air at the same time. I played with a couple of different configurations, then settled on this one :



The "nozzle" at the discharge focuses the pressure to provide the push required, whilst the large mouth at the entry point provides more air into the flow.

I'll try to post a video tomorrow.


P.S. The only reason for the 25mm stuff in the GB is because I don't have a 50/40mm adapter to try there instead... might pick one up to see if it works better??

This is the drain as implemented; it provides great aeration and swirling push in the FT.

I'm assuming your doing timed flood and drain? Also, water level in the GB stop because of the timing or does it stop at the stand pipe?
