They use these on mine sites to store spare high voltage electric cables for underground drill rigs, a coiled cable inside one of these would be weigh an enormous amount. They are very strong, I have spent a number of times staring at them considering the options. FYI , these cables can be worth up to $1000/ metre, usually around 50 metres is coiled up inside these ready for installation. We have 8 at our w/shop. Do the math... :shock:

I was useing one of those bins but it ended its life with a few fractures in a couple of spots and leaked, this container was not new when i got it but in good condition.
when filled with water it dose bow slighly and with all the ribs on it to make it strong caused it to fracture (IMO) where it did, dont get me wrong I think it was a great container and i will try and patch it and use it again if I can.
I will take a pic so if anyone else has same prob we`ll no if it realy is a fault

We filled one with sand and fired 50 x 4inch shells (fireworks) in 10 seconds out of it...it held up fine! :D
