I have a small system that I have had for years and I have only recently started testing the pH. When I tested it the pH was high so adjusted it and it was fine. Then I tested it a week later and it is high again. This is an ongoing cycle which I can't seem to break. Any thoughts |

Can we assume gravel based growbeds? How is the top-up water? How did you adjust the pH when you brought it down? -- Sam |

What is your ammonia concentration? What is the pH of your top-up water? The gravel in that rather small bed might contain limestone, have you tested it? |
