Like most aquarium products, they are not designed for use with fish destined for the table so we always err on the side of caution. In most cases aquarium products are just simple run of the mill ingredients with an accelerated price attached, much like anything do do with babies or weddings.

In this case we have iron and potassium in a bottle for $15-$20 when you could buy a couple years supply or more of either in other more simple forms for next to nothing.

But, its the other bi-products in the bottle that concern me.. http://www.regulatory-info-api.com/PDF/ ... f_Zone.pdf

I always stay clear of aquarium products. But thats just me.

Could be many things, don't jump straight to the conclusion that you need to add something.. What plants? Do you have photos? Are they showing any signs of deficiencies? Could be lack of pollination, weather, maturity of plant, many things..

I think your bugs might be red spider mites and aphids. Also, there's a pretty serious deficiency going on with your strawberries.

that's what I thought but I don't how to treat them.

Post subject:  Re: api leaf zone

Water spray/scrape the spider mites off, eco oil might work on them too, but it also might kill beneficial insects if they get sprayed. Remove any webs from the leaves too. Parasitic wasps, lacewings, ladybugs etc kill aphids. You can squash them by hand if there aren't too many.

If something has too big a population, it's often best to pull the plant and dispose of it in a sealed bag to prevent escape of the pests.
