A place to discuss aquaponics

Looking for some book recommendations about aquaponics.

There a quite a few books about aquaponics, some free some not, and would like tips about books that has been useful for you in particular.

I know this forum has a lot of information but there is something to be said about having it all in one place and reading cover to cover.

The BYAP staff put together a lot of the info you're looking for. If you haven't checked out the IBC of Aquaponics here on BYAP (it's free) then you should.

The Guide to Aquaponics link at the top is a good place to start - For the basics about NFT, Media bed, and DWC check out the Type of Systems section. The Running a System section talks about Constant Flood, Flood and Drain...

There is also the PDF version on that page. It is downloadable so you don't have to go online to get the information about Ammonia toxicity.

Much of the text is the same but there are some differences between the versions, the online version is still a work in progress and is newer but both are useful.
