Need more info on them... Are they always required? How big should it be? How often does it need to be cleaned? |

They are only needed if you want to stock fish to a higher rating than your growbeds can handle. The growbeds are your biofilter in aquaponics |

Or if you want to do a pure DWC/NFT system without media beds, but that's not too common. |
