Found this in my stream, today. G+, not liquid...

I realize that it isn't strictly AP related... but, then again... yes, it is. AP mimics nature. Utilizing a bio-cycle... the fish poo to fertilizer, the nitrification cycle with microbes and earthworms create our little 'biosphere', and we achieve balance on a tiny scale that the earth does on a bigger scale, when we humans don't muck up the process with speeding vehicles or stripping out for a monoculture or mono- mineral, and leave the waste in our wake...

Anyway, enjoy the talk.

Very interesting.... combined with "natural sequencing" land practices.... would seem that we could resolve a lot of land degradation issues here in Australia...

I haven't seen the video yet as I'm currently at work but from the comments made I find it strange that the very thing we are told not to do seems to be the answer.

I did a bit of research into Natural Sequence Farming after reading Back from the Brink by Peter Andrews. Then I found the ABC interviews with him. He seems to be getting results by doing things the Govt/Agriculture Dept say are wrong or are against the law. :dontknow:

Yeah because he is saying that livestocks are the things that can "cure" the land because they trample the soil so that the water can get into it and then the seasons bring their bit into it and the animals drop their poop and spread all the seed around and it encourages the land to grow and react. He's saying that if there's nothing going over it and it's just sitting still and the weather beats it to bits then it'd just degrade and die into sand and eventually salt or rock depending which part of the world you're at. He says that you need the big animals to do all the damage to make all the difference to our climates, then mother nature wouldn't keep lashing out at us with big storms and hurricanes and bad floods and droughts and fires and so on so forth.
I'm already thinking oh rightio I'm gonna look for some cheap real estates in the west australian deserts and start throwing animals on it! Not sure how hard that will be because as said above there are laws about doing that.
So... yeah... I'm thinking about it.... and if there are more of you guys thinking about it out there, say so... with many voices, we can make a difference and this is an amazing endeavor to pursue and I would hope to have the opportunity to do so...
