Awesome Lynx, great slides :)

In one of your first set of diagrams, you say to put the pump off the floor of the tank for safety. Can you elaborate? Isn't it better to keep the pump on the floor of the tank to allow solids to be sucked up and filtered in the growbed?

Hey Richard:

This is so that if you spring a leak somewhere you don't pump the entire FT dry, killing your fish. Ask me how I know. :dontknow:

(you can also plug the pump into a float switch so it shuts off when the water gets low)
