Ok, so this is the first forum I have ever been involved in and I'm noticing a lot of these (:thumbright: ect).

While I have guessed some of the meanings and connotations, I'm wondering if I can get an education on the matter so as to not look like a dipstick by the probability of misusing or misunderstanding their use!

most of the ones here are out of context and useless.
but they are called emoticons, they are basically a fun way of expressing emotion, etc.
the ones used here so far are the most used, dont even bother looking at page 2 and beyond.

It's all making sense now that I've looked at it in web view! I'm using tapatalk on my iPad and it only comes up with the word not the actual cartoon motion faces. The benefits of using an actual computer!
