Bunnings and Home Harware have triangular and square shade cloths in cream colour with thimble holes and reinforced edges.
They are as cheap as you can get them.

Yeah , will have to think up some end bits for my hoophouse if the grasshoppers become a problem. They are hatching around Horsham at the moment

Well if you want no locusts dont go with green mate. Golf courses over here spray greens purple if there is a plague coming

Post subject:  Re: Shadecloth Co'op

Yes , apparently they only go for green stuff, so they might even chomp on the shadecloth

Now Thinking about going 50% Hortishade, just realised that the netting around our trampoline is 30% its hard to tell off a sample thats 50mm x 30mm but if i put it against the tramp net its the same, i reckon it will be too light....

Will contact that site that eb has mentioned for postage costs also found this on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/50-SHADECLOTH-3- ... 2eaa3c05bc

guessing 50 for postage would work out $7 a metre which is 50c a metre more than i was quoted for 30....

they sell it by the mt for $13 so if someone was interested we could save some $$
