Hiya all, :wave1:
Well I am inching closer to getting set up.
I have applied a water proofing membrane to my galv tanks. I used a Crommlens product which said was suitable for potable water. Was much easier to apply than I was expecting.
Now for the gravel,
I called my local garden supplies place and they have a selection, just to confuse the issue! :dontknow:
The blue metal is much cheaper and is available in 14 and 20mm. I was wondering if 14mm is to big. They have cracked gravel in 6,12 and 18mm but is twice the price of the Blue metal.
PS went to the BYA shop in Jandicot, got me a pump and drain thing, wife had to retire to car as Joel very politely answered my newby questions. Thanks for your advice Joel, the shop looks great.
Comments anyone? Nice and helpful ones please.
:shifty: Skipd.

14mm mate, its plenty big enough. Maybe a load of 14 and 20mm mixed? Gives you the best of both worlds, some think that 14mm is a bit small.

When I got mine they had the 2 sizes as well. The 15mm would have ranged from about 8mm to 15mm with the average size being towards the lower end. The 20mm averaged about 17mm.
The size was based on the largest it had been screened for.
