Backyard Aquaponics Entertainer System for sale at $2000.
Keep about 40-50 fishes to plate size. Purchased from the original Backyard Aquaponics (now Cheidys Aquaponics). Brand new system sells for $3,550.
System has been running for many years and has somewhat been modified and upgraded but it comes with
- 1x 1000L Fish Tank (1700mm diameter x 630mm height)
- 2x 500L Growbeds (2200mm L X 1200mm W x 300mm H) complete with original Hydroton clayballs media
- 2x Galvanised grow bed stand to suit (these are well made ones from Backyard Aquaponics)
- 2x growbed pipe fitting around the perimeter including flood and drain kit
- 1x galvanised fish tank cover (rusting as this was not professionally done but still usable)
- 1x 5000LPH Laguna Max-Flo 1350 pond pump with PVC pipe attachment (newly replaced in April 2018; has 3 years warranty; can pass on receipt)
- Miscellaneous PVC piping (may need new ones as some of them have been glued together).
Manual and magazines included.
NOTE: No air pump or backup air pump or air hoses/stones included but these are cheap to buy anyways.
System is still running at the moment so the beneficial bacteria should still be alive. Selling because I am downsizing my aquaponics setups. This was actually my first system.
Pickup Southern River (Perth WA) during weekends. Happy to help load into your transport but bring tough garden bags or similar to transport the clayballs in. Allow around 1-2hrs pack everything up, so bring your mates to help.
