Circle3 Group (biopods@circle3.com) have cleared customs with the first load of BiPods which allow for the propagation of BSF larvae as a fish-meal replacement. They have both a residential model (A$279) and a commercial model on hand (A$399). For more information send an email to the address above. They can also arrange for shipping outside Australia if needed.

What's the difference between the "residential" model and the "commercial" model Circle3??

Can you post pictures of them both?

Love your patience!

The Biopod information can found currently on the www.thebiopod.com

Our Australian site is not up yet, but should be in the near future. In the meantime you can see the residential Australian model @ http://www.circle3.com/images/biopod/whole_wide_02.jpg

The residential is about 2 foot across.

The Commercial version has no lid and an optional stand is an extra A$35.00 and is 4 foot across.

We would expect to start shipping units in the next 2 weeks.

Thebiopod.com website has our details incorrect currently. We can be reached on 1300 76 77 78 or via fax on 0733744188. Our website www.circle3.com should come on line over the weekend and it has an online order and payment form.

Any idea on freight costs around the country or will you have agents in other states?
Patience is a dirty word around here

We send it COD on your preferred carrier. The box is 600x 600 and weighs about 5 kilo. I believe you can get it on Discount Freight or on the Bus pretty cheap. It is shipped from Brisbane.

2 foot across at what point? The base or the top - seem to be quite different. Must be the base, otherwise would be pretty small I guess.

BSF to the rescue?

I immediately thought BSF larvae could make short work of this problem.

The unit is 60cm (2 feet) across at the the top. The base is narrow spreading out at the top. With the lid on add an extra inch in the width.
