Ok will give this another week and then start to sell individual bits. Have a fair bit of spares and bits and pieces to go in the next couple of months.

Any one in the area wanting C1 (similiar to k1) have about 80/90 litres of new and if this system gets split then another 60 litres of used. Cheers.

Hey Charlie still waiting, bought a van so we will have our own bedroom next visit. Cheers

..
How did the system work with the Nitrates ? ( or did you just water change )
Just assuming that you mght have coped with the Ammonia and the Nitrites..

I do hope someone nearby can put it to use..

As I understand Bui, the only way to reduce a backyard RAS of excessive nitrates is to exchange water. Weather i t be exchange between exsistig AP system or replace from source water. Or another method which I haven't tried recently is to use indoor plants in insulated indoor media beds.

Charlie is right there, i changed water and cleaned the filter each week. You have to treat a RAS the same as you would an aquarium. I used the water on my garden, can not afford waste of water her as we use only tank water.

Charlie, still have about 80 litres of C1 in the shed and if the system does not sell will set the C1 from it aside for you to. Cheers
