does anyone know where in Perth I can get this variety of dwarf mulberry called Red Shahtoot? All the usual places -bunnings,waldecks etc don't have it |

Could also try http://www.tass1trees.com.au/ they have the larges range of fruit trees I've found around Perth.. |

Yep EB is correct, on their website it says they have the mulberry in question. I've found mulberries to grow quite easily from cuttings so if you know where one is........ |

Shahtoot mulberries may not be so easy to grow via cuttings, I had the white shahtoot and tried a few times to strike cuttings but they never took, even in the AP system. |

yep shatoots are hard to strike from cuttings - easier to strike a black mulberry and graft, though sometimes the graft rejects as well. |
