It has two 90mm stormwater pipes coming out the side and a 40mm drain plughole at the base.

I'm selling it to make way for more growing room in the greenhouse. So looking for expressions of interest at present and offers. I'll need to unplumb it, and need a hand getting it out of the greenhouse....

Open to any offers over $200. best offer in next 2 weeks wins.

Cheers
Matt

pickup from Coolbellup, Perth - no delivery I'm afraid.

PS will also be selling one (or possible 2) IBC(s) once I've sold the tank - has had the top cut for use as a fish tank - though can't sell it until I get rid of this tank.

Hiya matt, what is it made of, what is its diameter and height, is it open top and how high are the 90mm penetrations?
Thanks.

Its made of poly - very thick poly (up to an inch in places!) Its part buried in the ground at present so I can only give approx dimensions.

Height : ~1.8m
Width: ~1.4m
Vol: ~1800L

The 90mm penetrations are around half way up, though I've created an external 90mm extension to bring them up to about 15cm from the top. I've been running it as a CHIFT PIST system with the two 90mm feeds skimming the mid water to go to the growbeds and the bottom centre drain (40mm) feeding a RFF/MBBR combination.

Its covered in several layers of pool insulation bubble wrap at present which makes it hard to measure - the insulation can go with the tank. (I was running it a RAS at night to keep the barra warm).

The top has one large cut out and several smaller ones that take the floating basket inserts.

Heres an early pic of it installed

It would also make a great swirl filter or mineralisation tank, its just too big for my space.

:support: I checked with Australia Post and they won't touch it - wot a shame

Is it really 1800 high.. the perspective photo suggests it is about as high as the GB's, so you must be giants over there.. :thumbright:

I want it to, reckon it'd be a killer mineralisation tank, though can't find somewhere to put it....

It's certainly a bargain, but where to put it? I'd need a trailer too... Curse these first world problems...
