Can anyone provide me with some Tilapia fingerlings or adults? I can pay for them and the shipping costs to Canberra. |

Check if it's legal to have them first, in most states it is illegal to posses them. |

.. and a shame that they are common in QLD. streams, and I hear also in many NSW streams.. I would be confident that they would never escape from the average AP system, but then.. there are events that folk never imagine would ever happen.. like retention dams collapsing.. I just came back from Brisy and went looking in some local streams, where they had been reported as common-place, but none to be seen.. The older ones are "Said" to die off in winter (being tropical fish) but I wonder if they just play doggo on the bottom.. .. . .. . |

On holidays in Taiwan at present. Saw very healthy looking tilapia in large pond with koi at local historical site yesterday. Ate some in the evening - very [THUMBS UP SIGN] GurkanY. Search this forum for a recent discussion about tilapia in Sydney. I posted a link to the regulations in it. Or just Google NSW tilapia. Would be surprised if similar info not easily available for Canberra. Too cold for tilapia in Canberra anyway. Sent from my phone using Tapatalk |
