Can anyone provide me with some Tilapia fingerlings or adults?
I can pay for them and the shipping costs to Canberra.

Check if it's legal to have them first, in most states it is illegal to posses them.

and a shame that they are common in QLD. streams, and I hear also in many NSW streams..

I would be confident that they would never escape from the average AP system, but then.. there are events that folk never imagine would ever happen.. like retention dams collapsing.. :-(

I just came back from Brisy and went looking in some local streams, where they had been reported as common-place, but none to be seen.. The older ones are "Said" to die off in winter (being tropical fish) but I wonder if they just play doggo on the bottom..
