Well, I wouldn't know, I haven't bought much. In the 2 years time I spent with AP I mostly killed fish not fed them and just as it started to look good..........well, I don't want to repeat myself :)
Done and dusted, just the fish fodder left to get rid of.

Matthew, my feathers aren't ruffled by your suggestions about me having gotten 'ripped off'
The topic AP has come to an end for me but out of curiosity and maybe to prevent others to get 'ripped off' when considering the purchase of quality floating pellets you should give a hint to where your source is otherwise it is just words ..........floating :)

Personally the people you buy your pellets from really annoy me....

They were our supplier as they are the W.A. rep for the feed, buttttt..... and this is the annoying bit. They sell one bag to any joe public, for the same price as what they would sell us 30-50 bags at a time.. I tried to explain to them that selling 1 bag or 50 bags for the same price undermines your wholesale customers. As a wholesale customer buying 30-50 bags every couple of months, you should look after that customer.. but selling 1 bag for the same price makes your wholesale customer look like a bastard once they put on a standard markup.

Lovely people, but they just never quite got it, look after the customer who buys masses regularly? Or sell to one off buyers for the same price? :dontknow:

Sorry Gran , no secret Stirling Bulk in Tenterten have been mentioned severeal times over several years on this forum

E.B - being a sole trader for the last 25 years it sounds like small business to me everyone running around cutting each others throats , maybe you could have got bulk deliveries sent direct from Skrettings rather than the product going to Albany and back like Joe Blow does....

I wish mate... Approached skretting and they said that unless we were buying container loads, no, we had to go through stirlings, even though our pallet loads came direct from skretting and stirlings never even touched it..

Oh well... I don't have to worry about that any more... :)

Earthbound - Just for the record I did not buy Wholesale, I just bought a bigger amount at retail at a much higher price than the one I am asking for now hence nobody needs to be annoyed by my situation but me and I am over AP so I don't have to worry about that any more either

By the looks of it I triggered an interesting discussion though

Matthew - Somewhat I am glad that I didn't find the address here on the forum although I have to admit that I did look for some cheaper alternatives.

And that is the end for me about the pellets
