Post subject:  wanted yabbies perth hills

Hi
we are now ready to cycle our new system. Its a mini system and our first! It is a large bath tub with 3 x 54 litre 'grow bed' storage boxes above. I am planning on starting out with yabbies' as hopeful they will cope with living in a bath tub?? I must admit that eventually I do plan on eating them : ( but at this point more interested in looking after them enough for them to stay alive and happy and well and to hopefully breed. If anyone in the Mundaring to Midland area has any healthy yabbies' to barter? I can offer either: a kilo of my own jarrah honey just taken off the hive and kept in glass, or some pots of my own handmade organic body products, or hand made soap, or a couple of loaves of sour dough. Many Thanks
Rue : )

Hi Slowboat
Thanks so much for getting back to me. To make the body care I use my own bees beeswax blended with healing oils and aromatherapy oils. They are all preservative free- face balm, hand, foot, body, lip balms, body butter and deodorant. You can read more on my etsy shop WiseMoonRuth.etsy.com.au. I didn't mention my herb pillows and pot holders which I am happy to make to barter too. They contain raw alpaca fleece sourced locally and organic herbs from my garden. I am at Kalamunda market 7th Feb and Scarborough 14th & 28th Feb if you want to pop by to have a look : )
