Aquaponics System for Sale
Urgent, for this price it must be gone by saturday or I will be taking it with me on my move.
I’ve had this system for approximately 18months, serving me kilos of fresh veg from lettuce, kilos of tomatoes, cuecumbers, kale, silverbeet, snow peas, sweet corn, basil...and the list goes on. As well as about 10kg of trout
The system;
1000L Fish Tank IBC
~500L sump IBC
2 x 300L grow beds IBC
2 x small growbeds kiddy clam pool and other container (see pic)
Pondmax PU4500 (4500L/hr) pump
Everything ready to go and cycled, system is in a CHIFT PIST configuration meaning: Constant Height In Fish Tank, Pump In Sump Tank. This means that if there is a leak or something happens at least the fish will have water, and aren’t under stress due to constant water volume fluctuations, as the pump cycles. The grow beds are flood and drain and the pump is on a manual timer.
The system could also be set up as an outdoor hydroponics, as I have been using it or increase your grow area by swapping the fish tank with the sump tank, if you don’t want to look after fish that is.
The system is still set up and running as an organic hydroponics system using fish emulsion, worm tea and seaweed extract with good results, this is due to not being steadily around to feed fish and keep an eye on them.
I can help the buyer remove shovel gravel etc. but you’ll have to bring your own wheel barrow for gravel as mines broken. I’m only selling the system as I’m moving to the country and don’t want to lug it with me, will be sad to see it go.
Must be gone before the 20th or I’ll be making arrangements to take it with me.
