3 Megabin System for Sale.
It has come time to create some space and this requires me to sell My aquaponics system.
Starting off as Gary’s 3 Megabin System read the extensive information on its build here.
http://aquaponicsnation.com/forums/topi ... in-system/ I transported this entire system along with a whole bunch of other items down to Sydney and made quite a few changes and ran it as an integrated Aquaponics system as well as purely RAS for well over 2 years with great success.
I successfully grew rainbow trout in Sydney from fingerlings to well over a kilo in size over two seasons and copious amounts of vegies etc.
I managed to get the trout through 2 summers through the use of shading and a homemade water chiller until one 45d Sydney summer day and I lost the remaining 15 fish.
It has not been in use since then and I need the space. So all items listed below are for sale as a complete package. This is an extremely high capacity system and has everything you need to get started. Already plumbed and designed properly. All you need to do is move it to your site and put it back together and you’re ready to go!
All pumps etc. are still working fine.

• 3 X Megabin fish Tanks
• 1 x Swirl filter
• 1 X Moving Bed Bio filter with K1 Kaldness bio media
• 1 X Water pump
• 1 X Sonic P-65 Air Blower with Air stones in Fish tanks and Moving bed Bio Filter.
All plumbing from pump to tanks included
Items added to the system to connect to grow beds and help the system run better.
• Ball Valves to each Fish tank. Allowing to regulate water flow to each tank as well as the ability to cut tanks off from the system for cleaning etc.
• 3 X Megabin Tank covers to prevent fish from jumping out and dust etc. from getting into the tanks
• 11 Crab Tray grow beds with individual pots to fit the beds. One is broken.
• 200 plus individual pots for the crab tray grow beds
• 2 external custom bell siphons made using the Aphnan siphon designs. You can connect 4 grow beds to each siphon if needed. I had 2 connected per siphon and worked very well.
• 4 Cubelok grow bed stands made to fit the grow beds and use at a comfortable hip height. Approx. $500 worth of Cubelok
• Hydroton Expanded Clay pebbles. Enough for 4 trays worth. Approx. $1000
• 3 X 200l Blue Barrels.
• A large range of assorted 50mm and 25mm piping and additional ball valves to connect to the grow beds.
• Water Chiller. I made this myself out of an old Aircon unit. Very basic concept, however actually reduced water temp by about 3-4 degrees!
It has now been Deconstructed and ready to go, with all of the pipework labelled for ease of putting it back together.
Asking $2000 for the lot negotiable. Will sell for $1500 without the Cubelok Grow bed stands.
