I got this email from one of my fish guys ;)

Hey Steve. Was wondering if you Aquaponics guys might be interested in
some Australian Bass fingerlings. There pretty right in the cold and I
reckon they would go well in tanks. They can be weaned onto pellets
without too much trouble. I'll probably have heaps of them unlike the
tandanus catfish.

If someone knows a little about bass can they start a thread under the fish section?

Steve

Had this link bookmarked ...

Bass Info

Might make for some good basic "stickied" stuff

Interesting that ALL have a common gene pool...

DAFF encouraging farming and stocking...

P.S. One of my Favourite sports fishes... although discribed as "rare", actually quiet plentiful in a couple of local streams around my area
