Class 8 is usually pretty strong I think Steve... Typically Nitric, Phosphoric, Sulphuric, Acetic in high concentrations. |

i can atest to ferric being nasty, we use it as a floculant in a water recycling plant on the prospector trainwash. it eats almost everything including stainless steel and has, as steve says a horrid brown coulor that stains everything it touches |

Does a good job at stripping copper for circuit boards too. But what i was getting at was pepople can now look up the MSDS and decide if trace residues are ok with them. for example i'd have no problem using barrels that had contained nitric, suphuric or phosphoric acids in them if they were virgin products. have not looked up ferric chloride yet. |
