It's a bit silly to have to troll through all of the threads to find our where people are? Would it make sense to make it a requirement of a post that a location tag be put as the first word? Say for the city where the item is located or wanted?

Some people put their location in the side near their username. Some people don't want the world to know where they are. Personally I think you would turn people away if it is a requirement...

It might be possible to get 'location' added to the members search link. Ill PM joel this thread.

I meant specifically for the buy and sell thread - so you don't look at a thread that says "mega awesome setup for $5" only to have a look and find out it's in perth when you're in Canberra

Not really feasible I'm afraid... That would require custom coding of the phpbb software, and then it would need further custom coding each time an update came out. For a section of the forum where there's only 9 threads posted in a month, it's just not really worth it..

Rather than coding maybe have a pinned item asking if poster can use subject in form off " [Location] - 2nd Hand 500lt pump"

But then they have more than 9 posts a month.... Just more for the mods to do
