Hi all, I want to do a bit more research before I take the plunge into aqua.

I was going to order a full set of the back issues from the website but it looks like the earlier issues are only available as electronic downloads, no use for reading in the bath, which is the only time I get to read.

If anyone has any old copies they have outgrown I would like to get hold of them. I am happy to buy them new from the website if they have piles of them lying around gathering dust.

Cheers

Hey Jislizard,

Unfortunately the first 4 issues were only ever available as an electronic publication, they were never printed.. It was only at edition 5 that we decided it should be available in a printed format as well as electronically..

Well that explains it then!

I have downloaded and printed the first edition but as it is in Black and White it does not look so good as it does on the screen, must get a colour printer one day!

Thanks, I now know what my wife will get me for Christmas! (the subscription, not a colour printer, we have had many of them, waste of money!)

color inkjets suck but print nice photos. A color machine with toner is way cheaper to run per page. Might not look as nice but 10 cents or less cost on a full color page compared to a dollar in ink I don't care that it looks a little worse.

My main issue is that I hardly use them so when I do go to use a printer the ink has dried on the nozzles.

I have an $800 paperweight that used to be able to print photoquality on A3 paper.

and that ink in that cartridge might be more expensive then human blood at the hospital. I bought a toner machine years ago and changed out the toner 1 time so far. I used to have to buy ink every other month. Its about 100 to refill it but I bought a few bottles of toner and filled my own for 30. I bought enough to refill it 3 times for 90 shipped. If you don't use the ink often take the cartridges out and bag them. I used to do CD and DVD printing and had a couple machines but the nicest printing one was inkjet but the price to do 4800dpi was hella expensive so I rarely used it but bagging those 40 dollar cartridges saved me.

Probably... but using human blood to print is really messy... and even the best "donor" can only supply so much...
