I'm not sure why anyone would have Tilapia in the river delta with the abundance of fish there :? I wouldn't be suprised to see all but the really large growers be allowed to have them soon. :( The agent made some indication that is was a really rinky dink operation.

They may be able to stop them, The Mississippi DWF used this method after Katrina and was successful. I wish them luck.

We ship anywhere in the continental united states for "aquarium use." But it's your choice what you would like to do with the fishes once you receive them.
To address the first question. Where getting a 50/50 male ratio with our Rocky Mountain Whites crossed with a F1 female O.mossombica.The male population exhibits two different phenotypes: 25% are silver, and the other 25% are light black.

At 6 months our fish average 210g, males are normally 10-15g smaller. We keep our fry and breeders at 84 degrees Farenheit. Our fingerlings are kept at a steady 75 degrees Farenheit . I like to keep my alkalinity high between 250 and 300ppm. pH is kept at a steady 8.2. Nitrite, nitrtate, and ammonia are all undetectable.
