Agree with you Monya - "the Burp fish farm" prices are slightly higher, just need to see how convenient and reliable they are whether I accept their price (tempus....will tell  )

"However, like many larger fish, individual bass should be kept in tanks of their own"......so how well WILL they go together in tanks our size asopposed to dams/estuaries.

Not according to the link given ....

Quote:

Prices do NOT include GST (Goods and Services Tax.) Please note GST does not apply to export orders
All prices are "plus" freight and packing, health certification costs, and GST

Good site bk, I brought up silver perch and saw this:
Temperament: Nippy and aggressive fish - this is what I found with my smaller goldies in with the SP

I also locked onto this:
Temperature: 2 to 35°C - My water temp has slowly been rising towards 30c and I was beginning to experience minor symptoms of HSM  , but now I can breathe easier

very slow growth rate about 3 to 4 years to get plate size 500 grams with high protin diet that is the reason no one in aquaculture grows them to plate size. They are spawned and grown to stock into dams for sport fishing or the aquarium industry. I have 1000 fish average 50 to 100 grams in a 2000 litre tank just for a bit of fun
