We checked it out, and there were lots of goldfish, and a fairly decent range of water plants. They had some very tame silvers in an outdoor cement pond that followed you, the silvers for sale though were $4 for under 5cm, they had some murray cod at about same size and price

We learnt that there is currently a tandanus shortage though...

Okay folks, here it is!

200 silvers and 40 Tandanus are getting planed to adelaide airport for us on either tomorrow night or Thursday night. Total cost works out at $1.41 per fish.
they thought they had 50 TT's, but thinks only 40 now, so there may be 40 plus a few freebies.

So KE, are you happy with 25 TT's, Nova say 7 and me the balance?

Also,

I want to make sure everyone who wants fish gets them, so speak up. Let me know here how many you want.

So far, 25 silvers are spoken for (my BIL), so I have around 75 available as I want at least 100 to keep things ticking over over winter.

Nova, still want 30 Silvers?

KE any silvers?

Daniel?

HW Collector?

E2?

Anyone else?

:D

p.s, for any of you who are not quite ready, I can babysit. My 1000 litre fingerling tank will be commissioned tonight, with 50% system water. I will be treating with 3 parts salt on their arrival as preventative medication.

apparently, with low rain and or the high cost of water, people have been very reluctant/unable to get their cats to spawn this year. SEQ fish will have some available in late march/early april as they did spawn, just late.

i wont be ready now for around two weeks (some unwanted delays...)
But if you can "babysit" for a bit i could take 25 or so (if there are any more silvers or tandanus spare, i could take some more..or less if need be)

Anyone else?

Fantastic!!!!!!!! I'm starting to get excited.
I'll take as many of the TanTans I can have, 25 is good, and about 10 silvers (or whatever combination I can get to add up to about 35)
My tank still hasnt been made, I was told it should be ready at the end of the week, then I'll have to paint it, join up the last couple of pipes, and start to cycle it. Hopefully I wont be too far away. That's a great price, are they from livefish? I think it's only reasonable that everybody pays a small surcharge for food and board, and to cover for any losses.
Thanks Monya!

Tonight they arrive. Numbers are dwindling though. Final numbers are 200 silvers, 25 tandnadus. KE I hope 15 tandnas would be okay for you and 20 silvers. Sorry about that. 7 for Nova, 3 for me.

I'll pm Nova to make sure he still wants some. If not you can have 20.

Further updates to follow. Hope this is all okay.

Keep this going Mon and soon you will be making an order to send to them  , very frustrating when you plan well but "murphy" wants his say also - all will be forgotten/forgiven when they arrive, look after them and keep us posted on progress
