Hi

Anyone have some barramundi fingerlings for sale.

Just finished off the trout. And I'm assuming we are still limited to the 3 species here in WA...

Cheers

Tim

You have left your run very late for Barra. Even starting with large fingerlings mid-late October it's a stretch to get them to plate size by the time they have to come out, usually late April or early May.

From what I've been told by a number of customers recently the only Barra available ATM are very small. IMO you would be better off starting some Silvers.

Now that I've run Silvers I don't think I would go back to doing the Trout/Barra shuffle, unless I built a larger system with two FT's so I can run silvers all year round and the Trout/Barra in the second FT.

Yep, unless you can get really mature ones, you only have about 3 months left of growing season. Barra season is quite short here in Perth.
