I have a like new Lamotte Freshwater Aquaculture 9 test kit for sale. I bought it 2 years ago from Aquatic Eco Systems. I have only run 2 tests with it for dissolved H2O. Everything else is new in package. Identical to this one:

Sorry but according to this page Shelf life some or most of the contents of that kit would be questionable. Depending on how long it was at a shop even the 3 year stuff might be getting close to its expiry.

I think it would still show a positive reading if you were using it to test dissolved H2O

Humm... now here's a question...

if you were using it to test dissolved H2O... and you diluted the sample by 50%... would the result show that there was only half the dissolved H2O left....
