Hi Gang,
I’m about to set up a 630L display tank with typical farmed fish species (will have water in the next 1-2 weeks). The tank will have 2000L of sumps under the house and the next step is to link it into a full AP system. The plan is for about 10 fish total and eat/swap them over as they outgrow the tank in time to maintain a comfy balance of small to medium fish on display. I have maintained the Trout and Silvers since earlier last year in the same system with temps around 21-22C so aim to continue that in the display system, at least until the AP system come online in the months to come.
So far I have Rainbows, a Brown and Silvers ready to go. However, I’d like to get hold of a few other species, if anyone is willing to swap or sell.
In particular I’d love to get 1-2 Tandanus for the bottom cleanup crew and maybe 1-2 each of Jade, Golden, Bass, etc. Pretty much anything that we commonly AP and is going to be comfy in the proposed temp range
Only requirements be that they are around the 80-120mm mark as to be size enough to hold up against the 100-120mm trout and 80-100mm Silvers (who co-habit fine thus far).
So if anyone is Meld (I'm in Eltham) is able to help out, I have spare Silvers and Rainbows and happy to swap over so you are not down on fish numbers, or offer some $$$.
Cheers, Aaron.
