Interesting how these came to be. My Mom passed from cancer on June 1st, but evidently she placed some seeds in my system without my knowledge. All the time the plants were growing I just thought it was some butternut squash seeds that had laid dormant for awhile and come up really late. After the plants started producing I thought this was a "strange" looking squash until I figured out that my Mom had placed a couple of cantaloupe seeds in the system. Pretty good joke Mom....
