I am thinking of downsizing to a smaller system. I was looking at a green house that is 10'X12' I also saw one that was 6'x8' greenhouse. I am wondering about how much production could be expected in such an area. Any ideas are welcome. This is just a idea at this time. Probably 6 months from now. see harbor freight greenhouses for a basic idea of what I am thinking.

I am figuring that an IBC would be a good tank because it is square and would fit better than a round tank. How many fish could you stock in a 1000l ibc?

I'm using a HFGH 10x12 for my system. You can see some of the details from the links below, or my blog at http://web4deb.blogspot.com

I like the 10x12....but always wish I had something bigger! :thumbright:

Hey Machineman,
How much growbed space have you got?
For a 1 metre (39") square growbed 12" deep 250 litres of media I would say 10 fish that are capable of growing to 500g would be safe.
(I tried with the conversion!) :) If you have another growbed you can double the numbers.
You could stock with more if you are looking at goldfish. Hope this helps.

I am going theoretical here. Lets assume 1500l-2000l of grow bed space for the 1000l of tank. It depends on how well it could fit it in the GH.
