Dont you think it would be a great idea if people wanted to travel and save on hotel accomodation within the aquaponics members.
Imagine, going on holiday to another country, not having to pay accomodation (your name is mud if you stuff up someone elses home. eg screwing them over by not paying bills) but the best thing is that someone is looking after your system that knows what they are doing or at least has the passion to ring you asap and find out what to do!!!

Can you imagine swapping with TCLynx. Now she is gonna look after your system before she is gonna checkout the local attractions!!

Not a bad idea, but, really, no matter how long you've been here, no matter how many posts you may have. We are still really only strangers.

Id prefer to let a good friend look after the house and call me if anything happens to the AP Setup. I can re-plant and re-stock fish, I cant replace my house.
This is coming from a person who has had a complete aquarium system wiped out by a friend and a house totally cleaned out by a Thief.

Would you be afraid I would expand your system to take in all the containers available throughout the entire house?

JEEZ! You are right. I never thought of that. Then Id have the council on my back cos there would be AP right down to the front verge. Neighbours would be going berserk. The only sign of TC would be a 'TCLynx was here' sign poked in the ground.
And not to forget OBO. Hes gonna turn it into a commercial system, so you come home to a Fish and Vegie market.
What a dumb idea!! Who was the dumb APer that came up with this idea

While the idea could be open to abuse it's a good one that would need to be negotiated between the two parties.
Both parties would need to set out their expectations and conditions of such an exchange
Perhaps you could start a list of AP members with the dates that they intend to be away, although that could be open to abuse and fraught with folly!!
