they might wanna wrap those IBCs in something to stop em deteriorating in the sun

Nah, they get bugger all sun once there are some plants in them. Also they deteriate very slowly at lower temps, ap water is usually pretty cool.

I think they last about 3-4 years, at least that's how long mine have lasted out the back storing water in a fairly shaded spot. Walked up to one the other day and pushed the plastic and the thing cracked. Need to empty the water out soon before it blows...

No need Boris.... everyone I know that has unfortunately bought one of these has dumped it inside of a few months....

Or had to severly mod the siphon,inflow... and/or pump....

Oh... and most have put a screen around them.... they're a bit like "tits on a bull"... and twice the price they should be...
